I'm Caroline Morey. I possess a keen eye celebrating beauty and crafting unique stories with every image I create it's paired with an experience offering passionate, dedicated & dynamic services to my clients, many of whom have become lifelong friends.
As CEO & Principal of Studio Caroline Photography, I work on weddings and special events, capturing their essence and the legacy of love on these very special days. I've refined my craft with more than 20 years experience photographing weddings & commercial work after graduating with a degree in film from prestigious NYU. Caroline's been internationally published and her work has appears in In Style, The Knot, and many other publications.
I'm based in my native Newport Beach, in the heart of Orange County, California but travel wherever the assignment takes me. I especially love working in coastal California, Maui and Italy catering to destination weddings & events. I adores spending time with my wildly adorable daughter and my husband Moon, & our lovable tribe of fur babies in Huntington Beach. As a breast cancer survivor, foster & adoptive mom, I'm relentless, resourceful, wise and incredibly grounded. Ive been blessed to be raised by the beach which fosters that sense of calm; very much needed some days!
I understands the fast paced media world, yet embody calm in chaos, always the consummate professional. Moon is not only my husband, but also a modern day Renaissance dude growing up in a surfing and inventor family and capturing beautiful images with wit and charm. Passionate about sharing my creativity, I've mentor, educate & inspires through coaching and collaboration. Whether adventuring, cooking, or traveling, always celebrating the coastal life by spending time at the beach, on the water…while enjoying fine food & wine with her friends and her crazy, big Italian-Irish family! We can't wait to meet you and become part of the Studio Caroline family.

We've honed skills: connecting, styling, placing people in beautiful light, and creating the mood for them to "be" in the moment. Moon has a MacGuyver style while Caroline is soulful & sweet & the calm in chaos. She lives for the emotion held in these moments. At every ceremony, we remember how in love we are & what a privilege it is to photograph such amazing moments with our clients, many of whom become our friends.
Since 2001 I've owned a commercial wedding studio & blazed trails when the industry was led by men. I strive to create a beautiful uniquely authentic approach to my work and my business. My years in production, styling and major event planning have lent to my vision, timing and intuitive nature to make images successful.
We are experienced working with couples, agencies, media and corporate clients with exacting standards. You will be treated like family. Weddings, by far, are the most rewarding work. I’m so thankful for the incredible people who become clients & lifelong friends. On 11.11.11, clouds painted the sky in Dana Point cliffs overlooking the Pacific, I married Moon Morey. Funny, ingenious and talented. Moon is a kind, creative soul with an amazing sense of humor. He's my mirror to me & allows me to be my best creative self. He reminds me how awesome it is to be in love and laugh with your best friend every day. Being on the other side of the camera was a great learning experience. Our style is distinctive and conveys the beauty of the moment. We have an amazing time collaborating at events.
Moon & Caroline grew up at the beach. We’re in our element when we photograph beach weddings. We love everywhere this business has taken us. We trained at WPPI & PPA with highly regarded pros, Denis Reggie, Sue Bryce & Bruce Dorn.
